Cookie Chaser 5K/2K
This is a fun, family-friendly community event. We have two race distances, the 2k and the 5k. Both runners and walkers are encouraged to participate! We have participants ranging in age from 3 to 70+. The race is organized by the Oquirrh Girl Scout Community to generate support for Girls Scouts of Utah. Proceeds are donated to the Girl Scouts of Utah's Family Giving Partnership Campaign.

The Oquirrh Girl Scouts are hosting the 14th Annual Cookie Chaser 5k/2k on April 29, 2017 at Herrima, Utah. This is our way to give back to Girl Scouts of Utah and raise awareness in the community about the Girl Scouting opportunity. Since our first race in 2004, we have given more than $17,000 and bought a horse for Trefoil Ranch. The Cookie Chaser Race has become a tradition in our Oquirrh Community and we want to share the fun with you! There’s a race for everyone! Choose from the 2k, 5k or sign up for the Do-Si-Do and run the 2k with your kids and then the 5k for yourself! Participating Girl Scouts can earn a Cookie Chaser Patch which incorporates well with the steps to earning many of the badges in the Athlete Category of the Girl Guide binder.
