Focus 4 Run
9th Annual
Focus 4 Run
August 19th, 2017
2017 marks the 9th annual event.
Please come and join with us as we run, walk, and crawl our way to the finish line.

On August 24, 2008, four of our friends, co-workers, and family members perished in a plane accident while providing service on a humanitarian project in Guatemala.

Motivated by a desire to remember and honor them, their families, along with Focus Services, started the event. While they gave their lives while serving others, we have the opportunity to serve others in honor of their service.

Focus invites you to take advantage of a great opportunity to honor these four and their families—carrying on their service by participatingthis great event. All proceeds go to providing college scholarships in each of their names.

TriathaMom 2017
TriathaMOM is a fully supported, non-competitive, women only triathlon. Make no mistake, this is a REAL triathlon, (300 meter swim, 12 mile bike ride, and 5k run) complete with the REAL triathlon experience of chip timing, body marking, and intense feeling of accomplishment. We know you have had this idea… “Can I do a triathlon?” in your head for a while now. With TriathaMOM you no longer have a reason not to! You will know what to do, where to be, all questions answered, with an attitude of, “Can I help you”? rather than, “Get out of my way!”

If that isn’t enough… we know your family will want to cheer you on throughout this experience, so we are providing a Carnival Style Cheering Section with a ‘sign making station’, bounce house, face painting, inflatable slide, cotton candy, and everything to keep them entertained while you (and your friends) fulfill a goal that took a lot of training and hard work.

Skyline 55k, Marathon, and Half Marathon
55k, Marathon, and Half Marathon.

The Skyline Mountain Marathon has been called the most difficult, yet most beautiful marathon in Utah. Let us be clear though, this is not your standard marathon. With elevation gain of around 5K ft, your legs are sure to be screaming. We do not recommend this race as your first marathon. It is over 90% on rough single track trail. For those of you looking for something not quite as punishing, there is a Half Marathon option. And for those of you looking to really push yourself, there is now a 50K option with almost 7K ft in climbing. Both the marathon and 50K are great training runs for the fall 100 milers.
So, if you like pain, you have come to the right place. You’ll need to ride this pain and exhilaration like a sadistic roller coaster to make it through these killer events.

Total Eclipse of the Sun Run 5K & 10K - VIRTUAL RACE
Did you know on August 21, 2017 there will be a total eclipse of the sun? A total solar eclipse was last seen in 1991. The total solar eclipse of June 8, 1918 crossed the United States from Washington State to Florida. This path is roughly similar to the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse and was the last time totality crossed the nation from the Pacific to the Atlantic. We are so excited to celebrate a Total Eclipse of the Sun Run 5K& 10K. The medal is a spinner in the middle with the sun on one side and the eclipse on the other!
