Echo Triathlon
2018 marks the 17th year of the Echo Triathlon!

This event has become one of Utah’s largest events and traditionally sells out early. Warm July temperatures, a scenic ride in Utah’s unique Echo Canyon, and a run on the Historic Rail Trail makes for the perfect event for both seasoned athletes and beginners. After reaching our cap early last year, we have decided to increase this year’s race to 600 athletes. Get in before it’s filled friends!

Run4Fun Trail
This is a local favorite section with amazing views, 3 bridges, 1 creek traveling over rocks, uphill approximately 900 ft gain +/- depending on your devise. The trail is 100% dirt and starts at the Kaysville Wilderness area and goes to Fernwood and back. (You can check reviews on All Trails) The trail is only mildly technical and you could run in road shoes if you do not mind getting them dirty, or trail shoes preferred. It has beautiful scenery and is a fun area to run (I run it personally often).

Feel free to be competitive or enjoy the scenery. I want everyone to have a great experience and enjoy my favorite area. Myself and the volunteers will do our very best to mark the trail perfectly and to provide the best support. After the race, feel free to email what you liked and didn't like about the race so we can improve

Speedgoat 50K
Enter here to register for the Speedgoat 50k, 2014. Registration will be $99 and will go online at 7am Mountain Standard Time on January 5, 2014

Please read below first. The race is limited to 420 runners. We will start a waitlist after it fills up….and it will fill up.

The start line is now at ENTRY 1 at Snowbird Ski Resort. This is the first Snowbird entrance driving up Little Cottonwood Canyon. If you are staying at Snowbird, be aware it’s a 10 minute walk or a quick car ride from the hotel. ! The course is THE SAME AS LAST YEAR , so go watch the flyover and check it out one more time.

The prize purse is currently unknown as of December 16, 2013, however history tells me that it’ll likely go above last year, somewhere in the 15k-20k range. We WILL have the $1000 premium for the first man and women to reach Hidden Peak at mile 8.3 regardless.

Any non-US citizens that earn money at this race will be subject to immediate tax payment on earnings. The current deduction is a whopping 28%. So for example if you kill it and win, and are from Italy, You would win $3000 - 28%. Total payout would be $2160. This does stink , but I don’t want to pay your taxes….:-)

The start line is now at ENTRY 1 at Snowbird Ski Resort. This is the first Snowbird entrance driving up Little Cottonwood Canyon. If you are staying at Snowbird, be aware it’s a 10 minute walk or a quick car ride from the hotel. We switched this venue so we now have a shady, comfortable start/finish line…and a longer descent at the end! The course will be the SAME as last year, no changes are planned.

Runners will be required to check OUT of aid stations, there will be someone there to record you’re number. If you do not do this, we may send out Search and Rescue, which could cost you a fortune! Please help us out with this so we can keep track of you’re hooves

Doxa Threelay
Dóxa (Greek for “glory”) is the first triathlon relay of it’s kind. In the past if you wanted to do a triathlon with friends or family you were forced to compete against them or only do one of the three legs. Dóxa provides you with the opportunity to team up with friends and family!

Each of the triathletes on your team can have a swim, bike, and run leg, or you can divide up the legs how you would like! You and your team will travel 285 miles from start to finish over a two day period of non-stop triathlon. The overnight triathlon relay is an unforgettable and incredible experience.

Dóxa is the perfect opportunity for you to participate in your first triathlon because you will be able to rest between each leg! It is also easier when you have 11 team mates making sure you give it all you got!

If you are a seasoned triathlete, compete with only a few friends or even try the Doxaman or Doxawoman Challenge by completing all 36 legs by yourself!

Dóxa starts at Starvation Reservoir in Duchesne, passes through Tabiona, Hanna, Jordanelle, Midway, Provo, Springville, Spanish Fork, Mona, Nephi, Fountain Green, Mt. Pleasant, Fairview, Huntington, and ends in Price Utah!

Be prepared to see some of the most beautiful scenery that Utah has to offer!
